Activated Deodorant Tallow Balm

These come in 2OZ Amber Jars OR 4 oz glass Mason jars! These are packed with goodness! This is a recipe we have loved and poured ourselves into. We are a very busy, hard-working family who could not find a deodorant that not only worked but was gentle, all while helping the lymphatic system that surrounds the armpits.

  • Tallow is anti-microbial, balances the skin, and moisturizes the area.

  • True Organic Calendual-infused Olive oil and Organic Coconut Oil pack a considerable punch together in this DEO. Olive oil helps good bacteria thrive, while coconut oil helps harmful bacteria die.

  • Non-Nano uncoated Zinc Oxide- Aides in rash prevention and skin healing. It helps to reduce inflammation, is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, and is a powerhouse for the skin, especially in sweaty areas like the armpit.

  • Bentonite Clay- This will help to absorb the sweat. This will not become dry, as most clay mask varieties will. The clay will help detox the armpit area while you enjoy your daily activities. The clay will also aid in healing from rashes, ingrown hair, or other common discomforts.

  • Activated Charcoal- The activated charcoal will help absorb sweat, toxins, bacteria, and more! This will help with odor and sweat control.

  • Slippery Elm Bark Powder- is excellent for the skin, not just internally. This is an herb that is heavily overlooked for the skin! But adds a massive impact to this DEO. Native Americans used Slippery Elm to heal wounds, skin inflammation, burns, and boils. Most have skin irritation in areas we would apply a deodorant balm onto, whether it be their armpit, thighs, or even feet. The Slippery Elm is added to help aid in these common rashes, especially for those transitioning from more common deodorants in the stores.

  • E.O. Blend: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Patchouli, Ginger, Lemongrass

  • Baking Soda- Odor neutralizer! It is well-known as a deodorant. But the mistake others make is using baking soda to thicken their formula, making the baking soda percentage too high, causing skin irritation. Using Slippery Elm and tallow will also help reduce the risk of skin irritation. Even if you’ve experienced the common red rash due to baking soda use in deodorant, I would still try this. Store-bought deodorants cause me to be raw on my skin, but this deodorant does not.

  • Local Beeswax- The percentage of beeswax I use will keep the deodorant in place on the skin without clogging any of your pores.

I rotate between this formula and my detox deo for the best lymphatic health.

Due to high demand, I have added in the option of mason jars! How could I not? The excitement of canning season is near.
